The weaving loom is provided with a cloth inspection facility where the cloth passes from the breast beam via a further (rear) beam to the cloth take-up beam. The facility comprises at least one cloth guide roller which is arranged between the beams and is movable, pref. up and down in a vertical direction. The roller is pref. a tensioning roller which extends over the entire weaving width and may be vertically movable between guides and upwardly spring-loaded. The ends of the roller may alternatively be carried by fluid pressure-actuated (hydraulic) telescopic cylinders.
