The proposed equipment comprises a melting furnace connected to a heat maintaining furnace, both having a protective gas atmosphere, a distribution chamber, preferably also having a protective gas atmosphere, and crystalliser elements of suitable shape. - The principle of the proposed equipment is that a transfer system is provided between the melting furnace (1) and the heat maintaining furnace (6), made up of a syphon pipe (5) which is immersed in the molten metal of the melting furnace, a vacuum or protective gas filled lifting chamber (3), and a transfer pipe (4) which is immersed in the molten metal of the heat maintaining furnace (6).
