A process for the isolation of Wheat Germ Agglutinin Comprises defating wheat germ, drying the defated germ, extracting it with water, filtering and centrifuging the filtrate to remove suspended impurities, subjecting the resultant product to ultrafiltration, and thereafter decolourising, centrifuging and concentrating by lyophillisation.
