Compounds of the formula IMAGE in which R1 denotes an acyl group, R2 denotes an aminoalkyl-, acylaminoalkyl- or hydroxyalkyl-substituted heterocyclic group containing N or N and S and M denotes a hydrogen atom or a pharmaceutically tolerable cation, are prepared by acylation of corresponding 7-amino compounds with a carboxylic acid R1-OH. The compounds are novel; they display a potent antibacterial action and can be used in infectious diseases.
