In order to improve the air-conditioning, with simple and inexpensive means available practically all over at reasonable prices, of working-, dwelling- or living-rooms in buildings by supply or removal of a gas medium, for example hot or cold air with or without predetermined relative humidity without causing noise nuisances or disturbances due to air currents or health troubles, while avoiding any dust release from the air conditioning of the room as to hygienic and dwelling conditions in the room, which are dependent on the temperature distribution for human beings, animals or plants, as well as for sensitive machines such as computers, either during heating or cooling, by increasing the well-being feeling, during a first mounting or a subsequent equipment, the gas medium having predetermined properties, preferably fresh air at predetermined temperature and/or relative humidity, is supplied to the room to be air-conditioned, or is removed therefrom, by means of at least one air reservoir chamber (3) formed at least against the floor and/or at least against one wall (10) and/or against the ceiling and delimited by a large surface discharge restriction (4, 5) permeable to the gas medium.
