Abstract of the DisclosureAn accumulator-dehydrator assembly for an air condi-tioning system comprising an accumulator housing defining anenclosed chamber including an inlet and an outlet in the upperend and a refrigerant and oil accumulator in the lower end,and a vapor drier canister assembly comprising a one-pieceplastic body defining a closed top wall, a closed side walland an open bottom. The canister includes an integral outletprojecting into and sealingly engaging the outlet of thehousing. A vapor filter is associated with the outlet of thecanister such that refrigerant flows through the filter beforepassing through the outlet. A perforated plate is provided inthe bottom of the canister for holding desiccant within thecanister. A refrigerant and oil tube is mounted externallyof the canister and has a lower end extending to the bottomof the chamber of the accumulator housing and has an upper endextending into the outlet of the canister. A filter isassociated with the lower end of the tube.
