Crystalline 5'-inosinic acid 2 potassium salt was prepd.. Thus, 1 l of acidin soln. of 100g inosinic acid 1 l purified from ion-exchange resin was adjusted to pH3.8 by dropping 50ml of 50% KOH soln. and vacuum-concentrated with heating to give a soln. of 430g inosinic acid 2 potassium 1 l. 320ml methanol was dropped into the concd. soln. at room temp. to give 96g of crystalline 1MP 2K. 5H20.
