Set of elements comprising caissons, especially designed for constructing walls for containing and retaining earth

A set of elements comprises caissons (1), right (4) and left (3) half-caissons and cover elements (5) made of cement mix which may or may not be reinforced, these elements being intended to construct, when placed one on top of the other, a wall for containing loose materials. Each caisson is made up of four walls (9-10-11-12) which define a prismatic or frusto-pyramidal hollow body with a square or rectangular base. The front wall (9) which constitutes the front of the construction, projects above the side walls on the top to define a ledge (13). The base of the walls of the frusto-pyramidal caisson is thicker than the top whereas the bottom and top faces of the side walls (11-12) converge towards the inside of the caisson. The front wall (9) is shaped in the form of an obtuse angled V with its vertices pointing upwards and lying along the centre line of the wall and the back wall (10) is shaped in the form of two obtuse-angled Vs with their vertices pointing towards each other and towards the horizontal centre line of the wall. The top and bottom edges of the front (9) and back (10) walls, as also the top and bottom faces of the side walls (11-12) define equal obtuse angles. At the open bottom of the caisson, placed against the front wall (9), there is a horizontal fin (6) which has cavities formed in its thickness for a water reserve. IMAGE
