Model-construction device for erecting true-to-scale three-dimensional models of industrial systems and devices

By means of various structural elements (2-10) which can be releasably connected to one another, a model (1) of an industrial system or device, e.g. a conveying device, is erected. The structural elements (2-10) are true-to-scale imitations of parts of the system or device which is to be represented by the model. The structural elements (2-10) can be fitted together in various combinations, this permitting the erection of various models in a simple manner. The individual structural elements (2-10) are provided with a type-specific symbol (13). The symbol (13) of the structural elements (2-10) of any one type differs from the symbol (13) of any other type. With reference to the finished model (1), it can then be established, by reading these symbols (13), how many structural parts of each individual type are required and in what sequence said structural parts are to be fitted together during assembly of the system or device.
