Process for preparing non-reagglomerating pigments and use thereof as delustrants for fibres and yarns made of synthetic organic polymers

Pigments used for delustring fibres and yarns made of synthetic organic polymers were hitherto added to the unpolymerised starting materials in the form of a dispersion, so that the entire production line became contaminated. Pigments coated according to the invention with esters of acids of 3- or 5-valent phosphorus tend not to reagglomerate and can be added to the polymerised granules directly prior to melting and spinning. Suitable for this direct delustring are the known pigments titanium dioxide, barium sulphate and zinc sulphide.
