An ergometer, in particular bicycle ergometer, with a driving lever arrangement, in particular pedal arrangement, and an adjustable braking device has a disc which can be driven by the lever arrangement, in particular pedal arrangement. This disc of the braking device is part of an eddy-current brake. To precisely measure the braking power and for a design which requires little space, the disc (8) is composed of an electrically conductive material without ferromagnetic properties and at the same time is designed as a disc flywheel in a development for good heat dissipation. Provided on the disc, at a distance from the hub (16) on the outside on a disc-shaped flat central part (19) is an annular weight (20) which projects at least at one end over one side of the disc-shaped flat central part (19). The weight (20) is provided with slots (23-25; 26-28) which engage in particular from both sides in the axial direction virtually as far as a plane which is determined by the disc-shaped flat central part (19).
