The invention relates to the use of anhydrous alcoholic solutions of diphenyl and/or diphenyl derivatives as medicine for internal use for biological cell or tissue regeneration. Particular embodiments are characterised in that the diphenyl derivatives correspond to the general formula (I) where R1 to R10 are hydrogen radicals, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, SH, SR11 with R11 = alkyl, aryl, amino, carboxyl or nitro radicals, in that the anhydrous alcohol used contains 2 to 12 carbon atoms in straight-chain or branched form, in that the solution to be employed additionally contains flavours to improve the taste, and in that 75 parts by weight of anhydrous alcohol are mixed with 25 parts by weight of diphenyl or diphenyl derivative(s).
