The invention relates to a fibre-optic reflecting probe which is used to measure position and force. The object of the invention, which is to specify such a reflecting probe of high sensitivity which uses at least two optical fibres guided in parallel, is achieved according to the invention when a reflecting surface is rigidly connected to a probe body which is mounted in a guide in the direction of the normal to the reflecting surface, and the optical fibres are mounted detachably on this guide in such a way that the end sections of the optical fibres which enable the exits and entry of light, respectively, are released from their polymer cladding by at least twenty times their fibre diameter, and these sections are provided with a thin reflecting metal coating which prevents light from entering or leaving, respectively, at the side of the fibres, and the optical fibres are fixed, guided parallel to one another, in a holder which is detachably connected by means of a BNC demountable connection to the guide which carries the reflecting surface.
