The global strategic chess-board is a parlour game. The invention consists in a didactic and educational application of the game of chess. The squares of the chess-board carry names of geographical places, apart from two squares which are the seat of a political ideal. The pieces carry names of countries belonging to two opposed political blocs, except for two squares which are political ideals. A map or earth globe serves as a support to complement display of the movement of the pieces. The game makes it possible to direct and display a strategic activity on the ground by using the principles of the game of chess. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for: - education, knowledge of geography and political alliances; - the playing of a strategic parlour game. IMAGE
