The invention relates to a device permitting juggling with a ball while preventing the ball being accidentally sent a long way away. It consists of a belt 1 on which is fastened a support bracket 2 whose horizontal side is extended by a telescopic rod 3. In the angle formed by the support bracket is accommodated a reel 4 permitting adjustment of the length of the thread 5, passing via the telescopic rod, at the end of which a ball 6 is held by means of a fastening 7 fastened to the valve. Since the belt 1 is linked to the waist or to any other part of the user's body, the user can adjust the length of the thread 5 as desired by virtue of the reel 4, as a function of the type of exercise chosen: striking the ball 6 with the foot, the head, etc. The device according to the invention is intended for recreation and for training in juggling.
