The subject of the present invention is a type of house whose shape and orientation are designed to collect passively the maximum of solar energy and also possibly actively, as can be seen in Figure 3. In houses of conventional shape, it is known that a maximum of two sides out of four, that is to say 50% of the sides, are exposed to sun. It is also known that in this case, these sides receive the sun's rays at an angle. In fact, in order for the rays to hit a wall full face, only this wall may be exposed, which corresponds to 25% of all the external walls of the house. Consequently, the rectangular or square shape hitherto given to houses is not the most suitable for passively collecting solar energy. IMAGE
