(Methoxyphenyl)phenylpyrenylmethane derivatives of formula: IMAGE These derivatives are obtained by reacting (methoxyphenyl)phenylpyrenylmethanols (synthetic intermediates) with acid halides. These derivatives are suitable as fluorescent reagents for labelling nucleosides, nucleotides and polynucleotides.
