Skin care composition containing polyunsaturated fatty acids

A cosmetic or dermatological composition for skin care contains as active ingredient a mixture comprising: A) One or more triglycerides of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids containing from 18 to 22 carbon atoms; and B) One or more polyunsaturated essential fatty acids containing from 18 to 22 carbon atoms in free form or in the form of alkali metal or ammonium salts. A preferred active ingredient is a partially saponified polyunsaturated oil (e.g. sunflower oil, corn oil, borage oil, blade-currant pip oil or evening primrose oil).
