HERBICIDAL COMPOSITION FOR PADDY FIELD UNDER FLOODED WATER CONDITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled herbicidal composition, having specific surface tension and capable of exhibiting excellent herbicidal effect even when the amount of an active ingredient applied to the same area is small, by blending a herbicidally active compound having a specific particle size and solubility with a surfactant using water as a dispersion medium. CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal composition, obtained by blending a herbicidally active compound having 0.5-5mu average particle size and =100ppm solubility in water (25 deg.C) with a surfactant using water as a dispersion medium and having physical properties of 36-65dyne/cm surface tension thereof at 25 deg.C. The agent can be directly dripped and sprayed to paddy field under flooded condition after transplanting and has great advantages of ready spraying and reduced spraying labor as well as transportation and storage. The agent is stable and phytotoxicity can be reduced for paddy rice even by spraying the chemical after transplanting of the paddy rice without problems of run-off of the active ingredient by water leak of paddy field or run-off of the active ingredient into rivers by dissolution in flooded water of paddy field, etc.
