APPARATUS FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION OF FIXED BED GAS GENERATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous judgement of the measuring of temp. by eliminating the individual error in said measurement, by providing a hollow poker held in a vertical direction and the temp. detection terminal mounted in said poker above a poking hole. CONSTITUTION:A poker 1 is a hollow body and supported in a vertical direction so that the upper end thereof is fixed to a support apparatus 2 and the lower end thereof is positioned directly above a poking hole 17A. The leading end of a thermocouple is usually mounted in the poker 1 as a temp. detection terminal 6 and the output thereof is guided to a temp. recording needle. After rising and falling devices 2-7 are moved above a predetermined hole 17A by a rotary shaft 8 and a rotary motor 9 through a remote operation or automatic control apparatus, the rotary shaft 8 is fixed. Next, a poking hole opening and closing apparatus 10A is opened and a drive motor 7 is rotated to rotate a screw rod 4 and the poker 1 is automatically inserted in a gas generating furnace. At this time, by inserting the poker 1 at the speed corresponding to the response speed of a thermocouple thermometer, the temp. of each bed in the furnace is detected. By this method, the individual difference in the measurement of temp. can be eliminated.
