PRODUCTION OF INCENSE STICK, AND DRYING APPARATUS AND TOOL FOR PRODUCTION OF INCENSE STICK

PURPOSE:To produce incense stick in a short time preventing bending and other deformation of the incense stick without necessitating rearrangement of produced incense sticks on another stack board, by using a board having a specific construction as a board for supporting incense sticks extruded from an extruder. CONSTITUTION:The board 28 for supporting incense sticks is obtained by disposing a pair of flat members 30, 32 on both sides of the board wherein at least one of the members is hygroscopic and forming a number of ventilation gaps 36 between both members in a manner so as to contact the gaps with the hygroscopic member. The board 28 is set on a receptor plate 38. Undried incense sticks extruded through a plurality of incense stick-forming nozzles are supported by the supporting board 28 and both sides of the incense sticks are cut off by pushing with a spatula 56 against the edge of protruded parts 42, 44. The incense sticks on the supporting board 28 are cut into prescribed lengths, a number of receptor plates 38 are stacked and dried air is forcibly passed through the ventilation gaps 36 to effect the drying of the incense sticks.
