PRODUCTION OF CORED LINEAR OR CIRCINATE INCENSE STICK AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a cored linear and a circinate incense sticks capable of improving the mechanical strength of the linear cored and circinate incense sticks and reducing the fracture ratio during the transportation or use and emitting a more mellow fragrance when smoked without readily extinguishing a fire. ;CONSTITUTION: A combustible thready material is immersed in a perfume oil 12 and a starch paste liquid 14 at a suitable concentration, coated with a starch film and dried to produce a core material 18, which is then introduced into an extrusion tube 22. A perfume dough 35 is charged into a feed cylinder under connection with a hydraulic cylinder and pressed into the extrusion tube 22 to extrude the cored raw incense stick. The resultant incense stick is cut to a suitable length and dried to produce the cored and circinate linear incense sticks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
