PURPOSE:To prevent the mixing in of air into a pipe which leads the fuel in a fuel tank by providing a control means to reduce the amount of supply fuel to a burner which produces hot air flow when the amount of the fuel detected by a fuel volume detection means is below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid pump 34 is operated, the fuel in a fuel tank 32 is supplied to a nozzle 18 through a pipe 20. The fuel there is ignited by ignition electrodes 22 and burns, supplying hot air to a hot air chamber. When the fuel in the fuel tank 32 is reduced, a solenoid valve 82 is turned ON to make the amount of combustion smaller at the burner 12. Then, a timer is started which is set to a predetermined time and an alarm device 70 alarms that the residual fuel is low in the fuel tank 32. When the time is up in the timer T, the fuel supply to the burner 12 is stopped, and the combustion of the fuel is stopped. Accordingly not all of the fuel in the fuel tank is burned, and it is possible to prevent the mixing in of air into the pipe.
