PURPOSE:To prevent a firing hazard of unburunt fuel in an exhaust pipe, by switching muffler and filter side selector valves with a time lag and preventing the unburnt fuel in a cylinder from being mixed into compressed air. CONSTITUTION:With the lapse of preset time, operation of a timer means 9 closes a valve 2a, opens a valve 2b and switches a valve 2. In accordance with switching operation of the valve, high pressure air delivered from each cylinder of a cylinder block 12a is selected to flow in from a branch pipe 3b to a branch pipe 3a and fed into a filter 5. During said period the high pressure air is promotively cooled by a fin 4 and the periphery of the filter 5, further removed its free carbon and oil mist by the filter 5 then delivered to an outflow pipe 52, consequently the unburnt fuel in a cylinder is not mixed into compressed air to eliminate its firing hazard in an exhaust pipe.
