CONTROL ON STOPPAGE OF DRIVING PILE OPERATED BY VIBRATION AND PENETRATION

PURPOSE:To exactly and effectively stop driving a pile under a condition that a sufficient bearing force can be expected by a method in which the driving operation is stopped when an average penetrating speed becomes lower than a set speed by comparing the average penetrating speed at a given time or penetration length with a set penetrating speed. CONSTITUTION:A pile 1 is continuously penetrated into the ground by the operation of a vibro-penetrator 2, and the depth of the lower end is detected by a depth sensor 4 in terms of the turning amount of pulley 5 and sent out to an arithmetic unit 6. Next data on the depth of lower end are stored in the memory and average penetrating speed V within a given time period is calculated by the arithmetic unit. The speed V is compared with a set penetrating speed V0 from survey results and accumulated data of ground in a comparator. When VV0, control signal is sent out to the oil-pressure circuit of an oil- pressure motor 3 to automatically stop the penetration of the pile 1. Control on stoppage of driving pile may be performed on the basis of the average penetrating speed at a given penetrating length.
