PURPOSE:To provide a house, prominent in energy saving, durability and comfortableness, by a method wherein heat insulation as well as ventilating cooling are effected in the daytime of summer but the heat is insulated in nighttime of the same while heat is not insulated at the side of a sunshine surface but the heat is insulated in the daytime of winter and the heat is insulated in the nighttime of the same, further, air in the upper part of the house is mixed with the air in the lower part of the house by a ventilating fan in order to reduce a temperature difference between the upper part and the lower part of the house. CONSTITUTION:A metallic U-tube 7 opened in the upper part thereof and provided with bypasses is provided between an insulating member 3 with grooves longitudinally and transversely and a metallic roof 1. In the case of summer, for example, the contacts 76, 77 of a temperature switch 39 are connected in daytime, the magnet 78 of a relay switch 40 is conducted to conduct the contacts 80, 81, 82 and the contacts 69, 71 of a three-way switch 41 are off, therefore, a ventilating fan 14 is not driven and the outer wall 2 of the roof 1 acts so as to insulate heat. Due to the temperature reduction of atmosphere or radiation cooling in the nighttime, the temperatures of the roof 1 and an outer wall 2 are reduced to 25 deg.C, for example, when the contacts 76, 77 of a temperature switch 39 are disconnected and are connected to the contacts 81, 82 of a relay switch 40 to conduct the contacts 70, 71 of a three-way switch 41, the ventilating fan 14 is driven and air flows as same as the daytime of winter, whereby cool air is induced into the house and the house may be cooled.
