ACCOUNTING PROCESSING SYSTEM IN MEDICAL INSTITUTION

PURPOSE:To reduce the load of service at the window of a medical institution and to rapidly and surely execute accounting processing by automatically calculating and paying the amount of each payer's medical expenses by the payer's operation. CONSTITUTION:When a consultation card is inserted into an automatic transaction device connected to a host computer, payer's data are transmitted to the host computer and the host computer calculates the amount to be paid based on the payer's data concerned and payer's medical data inputted from a terminal equipment connected to the host computer and transmits the calculated amount to the payer. The amount is displayed on the automatic transaction device and the amount data based on the amount paid by the payer are transmitted to the host computer. On the other hand, the automatic transaction device ejects the consultation card, a detailed account, a balance, etc., in accordance with the reception of a transaction allowable signal outputted from the host computer. Consequently, a rapid account system executing sure account processing without using manual account processing can be obtained.
