REMOVAL OF EXTRA-BANKING CONCRETE OF PILE HEAD IN CAST-IN-PLACE PILING WORK

PURPOSE:To attain highly reliable work of removing extra volume of concrete without causing cracking by vibration and environmental pollution by noise and without needs for chipping operation by a method in which extra volume of concrete in a fluidized state is sucked up under vacuum condition by a suction pile and discharged from a pit. CONSTITUTION:An extra-banking portion 16 mixed with slime in a fluidized state is formed on the upside of the final head 15a of concrete pile column 15, and the nozzle 9a of a suction pipe 9 is set between the extra volume top 16a and the final pile head 15a. The jet nozzle 11 of a jet pipe 10 is also set on the final pile head 15a. Water is sent from water source W to the pipe 10 by a pump 12 and jetted into the extra portion 16 from the nozzles 11a and 11b to agitate the whole of concrete. The concrete is sucked up with stabilizer liquid 17 into a separate tank 4 through the suction pipe 9 by means of a vacuum pump 5. The construction period can thus be shortened, the operating efficiency can be raised, and the cost can be reduced.
