PURPOSE:To remove unnecessary demon searches and to speed up slot operation by providing a demon flag dynamic control part and a demon flag batch control part. CONSTITUTION:Demon search request information and information to be searched are transferred from a central processing part 7 to a control part 2 through an interface 27. The control part 2 transfers a demon search indication to a demon search part 3 through an interface 23, a request to change a demon flag dynamically to the demon flag dynamic control part 4 through an interface 24, a request for the batch change of the demon flag to the demon flag batch control part 5 through an interface 25, and further a request to update a demon definition table to a demon definition table control part 6 through an interface 26 respectively based on said demon search request information. Consequently, the overhead of dynamic processing for the maintenance control over the demon flag is minimized.
