DRAWING-UP METHOD FOR SEAWATER IN ABYSSAL ZONE

PURPOSE:To enable the seawater in the abyssal zone to be drawn up efficiently by drawing up the seawater in the abyssal zone through a siphon pipe into a tank, and then conveying the seawater in the tank to a prescribed place by means of a pump. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a tank 1, which is placed in the sea in such a manner that its upper end is protruded from the surface 5 of the sea, and a siphon pipe 2. By means of the siphon pipe 2, the seawater in the abyssal zone is drawn up by virtue of the siphonage into the tank 1. Subsequently, the seawater, which is drawn up into the tank 1, is conveyed by means of a pump 3 to a prescribed place, such as a plant vessel or the like. Hereby, the seawater in the abyssal zone can be drawn up efficiently, and the power energy can also be saved from the work.
