KEYWORD INPUT METHOD FOR DOCUMENT FILING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To improve operability by providing a memory storing document information and its retrieval items and directly using said items as keywords. CONSTITUTION:By the control of a CPU 10 a chart registration processing program 21 in a main storage device 13 is exploited, and stored in a disk device 11. By the control of the CPU 10 a keyword registration processing program 22 in the main storage device 13 is exploited, and the retrieval items are added corresponding to the document information and stored in an optical disk device 141. For retrieval, first a keyword retrieval processing program 23 in the main storage device 13 is used by the control of the CPU 10, and the desired field on the document information is specified through a mouth 122. A chart about the field is picked up from the disk device 11 and a displayed on a display device 121. Therefore the retrieval item corresponding to the desired document information is specified through the mouth 122.
