PURPOSE:To produce an Al alloy solidified by rapid cooling and having improved workability and heat resistance by atomizing a molten Al alloy contg. specified amounts of Cr and Ti. CONSTITUTION:The composition of a molten Al alloy is composed of 2-11wt% Cr, 0.5-6wt% Ti and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. The molten Al alloy is atomized at about 103 deg.C/sec cooling rate to produce an Al alloy solidified by rapid cooling.
