DUPLICATING METHOD FOR PICTORIAL ART AND CALLIGRAPHY

PURPOSE:To reproduce a true print feeling by spraying an alum solution on a picture-silk, performing a contraction treatment, labeling Japanese rice-paper thereon, performing a non air permeability treatment and printing by screen and gravure and/or offset while reproducing the accurate color and density of the original. CONSTITUTION:An alumn solution is sprayed on a picture-silk to prevent the running of ink or the like, moisture is imparted to the cloth, the cloth is then dried in nontension state, and the contraction and strain of the cloth caused by the moisture of the ink can be prevented. Then, the cloth is labeled with Japanese rice-paper, which is performed with non air permeability treatment to be able to be printed by screen or offset method. The cloth is then printed by screen and gravure and/or offset, the former providing a true picture feeling and the latter providing color and density in addition to the fine lines being reproduced accurately.
