METHOD FOR SETTING RAW YARN WOUND BALL TO CREEL BOGIE AND DEVICE FOR RAISING AND BRINGING DOWN CREEL BOGIE

PURPOSE:To carry out a setting operation safely and efficiently by bringing down a longitudinally longer movable creel bogie having a number of pegs from its vertically erecting condition to a horizontal condition, and setting a raw-yarn wound ball to said pegs in this laid down and low condition. CONSTITUTION:With a supporting bed 3 kept erected, a creel bogie 2 is installed on the supporting part 3a of the supporting bed 3. At this time, the creel bogie 2 is supported by a back supporting part 13 with its lower end part being supported by the lower supporting member 12 while its fixing projecting parts 11 being engaged with engaging grooves, thereby, being supported by the supporting bed 3 in a stable condition. After that, as a hydraulic cylinder 5a is extended to tilt the supporting table 3, the back supporting member 13 is received by a receiving member 21, making the creel bogie 2 in a horizontally laid condition. Since the height of this laid creel bogie 2 is extremely low irrespective of the height of the creel bogie 2 in the normal condition, an operation can be safely carried out in a stable posture even when wound balls are set by hands.
