PURPOSE:To provide the titled transfusion solution, having high stability to inhibit the Maillard's reaction, and useful for a patient having lowered resistance to sugar, by mixing amino acids with maltitol and lactitol which are disaccharide alcohols. CONSTITUTION:A sugar-compounded infusion solution containing maltitol and lactitol as the sugar components. The preferable concentration ranges of the sugars, amino acids, and electrolyte elements in the aqueous solution are shown in Table 1. Since the osmotic pressure of maltitol and lactitol is about 1/2 of the pressure of monosaccharide alcohol based on the same weight, the present infusion is preferable as a remedying infusion solution for a patient having lowered resistance to sugar. The infusion solution does not cause Maillard's reaction by a high-pressure steam sterilization at 121 deg.C for 20min.
