PRODUCTION OF REFLECTIVE MIRROR SURFACE BASE FOR ROTATING POLYGONAL MIRROR

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by using a high-purity metal only in a thin plate to be a skin material and ironing the whole of a core material and the skin material with a press to wrap the core material in the skin material in case of coupling between the core material and the skin material. CONSTITUTION:An extruded round bar or angular bar consisting of an Al-Mg alloy as a normally industrically used component is sliced to obtain a core material 1, and meanwhile, a metal of 99.99% high purity is casted by a special melting method using a special filter to obtain a circular blank 2 consisting of an Al-Mg alloy thin plate. The core material 1 is set on the circular blank 2, and they are set to a press 3 like a cold die press, and the whole of them are ironed by the press 3 to wrap the core material 1 with the circular blank 2 as a skin material 4, and an edge part 4a of the skin material 4 projected from the upper end of the core material 1 is cut away by a lathe, thus obtaining a product. The core material is inexpensive because a metal of normal purity is used, and the production stage is reduced because the whole of them is only ironed. When the core material is cladded with the skin material, and the cost is reduced.
