PURPOSE:To make the edge of welded sheets curled into a small bead so that the edge would not scar user's finger or the like, by carrying out high-frequency welding of a soft thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet to a rigid thermoplastic resin sheet using a heated special upper electroe. CONSTITUTION:A rigid thermoplastic synthetic resin thin plate 5 placed on an insulating sheet 10 and a soft thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 6 are welded between an upper electrode 3 having a gentle slope 1 and a sharp slope 2 and equipped with a self-heating heater 3' and a lower electrode 4 with a board core material 7 between the plate and the sheet. Shortly before the upper electrode 3 is retracted, the object 11 is removed from the electrodes 3, 4, the unrequired part 3 is torn off, and the welded section 9 that has been made thin-walled due to the gentle slope 1 is allowed to be curled due to the shrinking force.
