CONTROLLING SYSTEM FOR TERMINAL ATTRIBUTE DEFINITION

PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to execute a complicated work for giving a parameter related to a terminal attribute by a network definition language by designating only a terminal equipment model name, discriminating automatically its attribute and generating a terminal attribute management table. CONSTITUTION:A user inputs a terminal equipment model name from an input means, and a discriminating means 2 inputs the terminal equipment model name by a terminal equipment model name input processing 21, and determines an attribute to its terminal by a terminal attribute information determination processing 22. Also, a registering means 3 is started by a registering means start processing 23. The registering means 3 inputs information which has been obtained by the discriminating means 2, by a terminal attribute information input processing 31, and registers its information in a terminal attribute management table 4 by an information write processing 32. When an inquiry about a terminal attribute is received from an application program 7, a read-out means 5 discriminates the terminal which has been inquired about by the application program, by an inquiry terminal input processing 41, and reads out terminal attribute information to its terminal, from the terminal attribute management table 4 by an information read-out processing 42.
