PURPOSE:To readily charge barley malts into an instant food container in an uniform quantity by an automatic apparatus without weighing, by cutting and dividing an edible water-soluble sheet having the barley malts sticking to the whole surface thereof for use. CONSTITUTION:Barley malts are wholly stuck to an edible water-soluble sheet, e.g. pullulan film, etc., cut and divided. The resultant cut and divided small pieces are then put in a container for instant food, e.g. cup Chinese noodles, etc. The above-mentioned barley malts are stuck to the sheet using, e.g. water.
