PURPOSE:To obtain a color image which is free from fogging, staining or uneven density by providing a layer contg. a specific blue light absorptive dye between a blue sensitive layer and green sensitive layer or between the blue sensitive layer and red sensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The layer contg. the blue light absorptive dye expressed by the formula is provided between the blue sensitive layer and the green sensitive layer or between the blue sensitive layer and the red sensitive layer. In the formula, X denotes the group of the atoms forming a 5- or 6-membered arom. carbon ring, etc., R1-R3 respectively denote a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, etc. The blue absorptive dye expressed by the formula has the good molar absorption coefft. and cut on an absorption wavelength side.
