The invention relates to a method for stimulating root growth and improved utilization of water reserves in the subsoil on compacted sites of the Loess, loam and clay substrates by targeted introduction of a root stimulant into the subfloor region to be developed in the context of partially or completely loosening measures. An increase in the root canopy density in the subsoil results in an improved utilization of groundwater reserves in periods of drought and at the same time a stabilization of mechanically produced loosened structures as well as root-induced bioperfication and biological activation in subsoil. As a means of root stimulation with delayed, long-term effective availability, the solution of an ammonia-urea-formaldehyde product is used.
