PROCESS FOR PRODUCING CALCIUM PREPARATION OF NATURAL BASIC MATERIAL, PREFERABLY FOR TREATMENT OF DEFICIENCY DISEASES OF PREGNANT WOMEN AND EMBRYOS

To counteract calcium deficiency in pregnant women and their embryoes, egg-shells are washed in a 4% formaldehyde (lysoform) spray, allowed to soak in an enzymatic washing agent soln. for up to six hours, combined with another hour of mechanical agitation. This is follwed by a water rinsing stage under further agitation by a wash in 0.55% sterogenol soln. and repeated rinsing. Finally, the shells are centrifuged, dried in hot air at 105deg.C and prior to converting then into tablets or dragees. (Corrected abstract)
