Gyroscope used as energy source - extracts gyroscopic power generated as flywheel axis precesses due to earth's rotation

The energy extracted from the system is developed as the rotation axis of a flywheel itself rotates about the centre of the flywheel. The rotation shaft is first suspended at right-angles to the North-South axis of the earth, and the flywheel is set in motion. As the earth rotates, the axis will tend to stay in the same position, thus appearing to rotate through 360 deg. in relation to the earthps surface in 24 hours. If the energy necessary to overcome bearing friction and air resistance is less than that generated by the axis precision, the excess energy can be extracted by impeding the movement.
