Date Jan. 5, 1984.In a method for coating a surface with a layer the surface is first subjected to vacuum in a vacuum zone (V) sealed against the surface, whereupon liquid for forming the layer is supplied to the surface in a sealed pressure zone (P) following the vacuum zone.
