Wooden wall for buildings, made up of a number of wall elements in the from of boards, where each wall element has a first end intended to form a corner joint, which wall elements 1 have, at their first end, grooves and recesses, which wall elements are arranged to engage in each other to form a corner joint and where a corner post 10 is arranged to cooperate with the wall elements. The invention is characterized in that the other end 13, 13' of the wall elements, which end lies opposite the said first end, lacks grooves and recesses and consists of a plane surface 12 which is at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the wall element 1, 1', in that a connection element 20 is provided which consists of at least one profile running parallel to the corner posts 10, 10', where only one profile or alternatively two profiles together has/have two pairs of grooves 21, 22; 23, 24 which face each other and which run along the whole length of the profile, which pairs of grooves 21-24 are at a distance from each other, and in that two single walls 30, 31 each consisting of wall elements 1, 1' joined at the corners and one corner post 10, 10' are situated one to the inside of the other in parallel planes, where the length of the wall or wall element is such that its other end 13, 13' is arranged to be inserted into the grooves 21-24 of the connection element 20 in order to form a double wall.
