PRESSURE-REGULATING VALVE WITH A FORCE-FEEDBACK

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA pressure-regulating valve having a force-feedbackarrangement for indicating the fluid delivery, has a forcecam rotatable along with an actuator member, shaft arrange-ment which controls the fluid delivery. At least one camslot is formed in the force cam at an angle to the axis ofthe force cam. An annular ring is fixed within the valvehousing in a coaxially surrounding relation to the forcecam. At least one guide slot is formed on the annular ringparallel to the axis of the annular ring and adjacent thecam slot formed on the force cam. A follower pin extendsbetween the adjacent cam and guide slots and is axiallymovable under the influence of a cam force exerted uponrotation of the force cam. A feedback piston is movablewithin a piston chamber located adjacent the force cam. Thefeedback piston contacts the follower pin which is a functionof the delivered fluid value. The piston force is exerted ina direction opposite movement of the follower pin resultingfrom rotation of the force cam.
