ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSUREThe present invention relates to a gravity-type oceanicstructure and its stable installation, wherein a skirt isprovided downwardly on the outside periphery of the lower end ofthe structure to be settled and fixed on the sea bed. When thestructure is settled on the sea bed, the skirt is pushed into thesea bed foundation to prevent penetration of sea water from theoutside circumference into the structure. Sea water in the skirtis discharged by draining means to make the internal pressureequal to the atmospheric pressure, to eliminate buoyancy so thatthe bottom surface of the structure is fixed firmly to the seabed.
