RAPID DETECTION OF NEISSERIA GONORRHOEAE IN URINE SAMPLES WITHOUT CULTURING

摘要

A rapid diagnostic method for detecting the presence of N. gonorrhoeae in a body fluid sample, applicable even to a urine sample. Prolonged incubation is not required. Results can be available in less than 10 minutes. The method is based on the use of various test compositons which contain a substrate which can be cleaved to produce a detectable optical response.
