0 An apparatus for dispensing banknotes, comprising a cabinet (10) housing a banknote store, electronic components etc., and a base assembly (62) which forms a base for the cabinet and which can be attached to a wall or a floor of a room in which the apparatus is to be used.;The base assembly comprises a support plate arranged to permit limited rotation of the cabinet (10) relative to the support assembly.
