The module can be connected to anchoring means on the patient support and comprises a rectangular panel (2) of a height at least equal to the size of the patient's feet and it is equipped with adjustable means for the positioning of the limbs, these means consisting of at least one bracket (6), with a gutter profile, ensuring, on the one hand, the positioning of the lower limb and, on the other hand, the essentially vertical retention of the panel (2). The means for fixing the bracket (6), with a gutter profile, to the panel (2) consist of at least one groove (4) extending horizontally at half the height of the panel (2), cooperating with vertical grooves (8) centred on lugs (7) arranged on either side of the vertical wing (6v) of the bracket (6).
